• Co-chair at Ethnic Studies I served as the co-chair of Ethnic Studies, advised Ethnic Studies minors, recruited students, and assisted with the annual report. I also represented Ethnic Studies at one open house. 2023 - 2024
• English Department Department Student and Awards Committee As a member of the English Department Department Student and Awards Committee , I assisted in selecting various recipients for scholarships offered by the English Department. also assisted in choosing the outstanding undergraduate and graduate students. 2023 - 2024
• Presentation at the University of Belize I presented "Balancing the Books: Strategies for Teacher Wellness and Stress Management" at the University of Belize, where I discussed using journaling and writing as tools to alleviate stress caused by teaching. 2023 - 2024
• Relationship Education Curriculum Evaluation For three weeks, I participated in an evaluation workshop titled "Relationship Education Curriculum Evaluation," which was provided by the Em-BRAcE-ing Family Program, funded by the Duke Endowment Grant. I assisted the research team in enhancing the curriculum by listening to the lessons and providing feedback to improve the texts and execution of the curriculum. 2023 - 2024
• Writing Foundation Committee I served on the Writing Foundation Committee for the English Department, attended monthly meetings, participated in two roundtable discussions, assisted in selecting textbooks, and provided advice on the Kitty Hawk program. 2023 - 2024
