Azita Movahed

Born and grew up in Iran. Moved to U.S in 1991. Transfered to and finished my undergrad education in Biology at ECU and also received my Master degree in Accounting at ECU. In 2011 I received my CPA license. I worked as accountant in two corporations and in 2012 started my teaching career at ECU.
I'm married to my husband since May 1991 and we have 3 childern. 2 daughters and one son.
My husband is working at Brody School of Medicin as the Director of Nuclear Cardiology. He is from Iran too.
I'm a U.S. Citizen.

Treasurer Assistant DownEast Community Tennis Association:Helping with the financial reporting and decisions for the association.Also, I am part of the Scholarship Committee for DCTA to offet tennis scholarship with uprising collage students who played tennis in highschool and also paying for tennis accadmic programs during summer being offered for High school students in Pitt County. 2022 - 2023
