Damon L. Rappleyea, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Director for Marriage and Family Therapy Programs at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. His research interests are in the areas of family violence, adolescent relationship development and marriage education. He is widely published within his field of study and regularly presents his work at national and international professional conferences. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist in North Carolina where he owns and operates a private therapy practice. Dr. Rappleyea received his Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University (2001), a Masters degree from the University of Oregon (2004) and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University (2009).
