• I am a scholar and practitioner in applied clinical and health psychology. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychology at ECU, primarily engaged in supervision and training for doctoral students in health psychology. I also teach undergraduate and grduate courses in psychological assessment, psychopathology, and testing, and I have previously taught at undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels at other institutions. In addition, I operate a small private practice and also assist as a consultant for religious organizations that seek to integrate mental health and psychological insights into their work. My academic and research expertise is in psychology of religion and clinical work with people of faith, while my clinical expertise includes 2nd- and 3rd-wave transdiagnostic approaches to cognitive behavioral therapy, personality assessment, health psychology, and psychotherapy with people of faith.
